Wellness Social Video Campaign: The Heal Process Story

Posted on at

For those of you who consider going to a doctor the only way in which to get better, you'll probably not be interested in my story.  The Healing Arts is slowing making in roads into the daily practices of Americans.  I was introduced from a friend who offered help when I got sick.

In The Flow is a social video project I'm developing. This has been a year long effort in understanding where the value proposition existed.  As the project progresses, I'll post updates on FilmAnnex.com.  For those you are interested in understanding the work flow of developing a social video campaign, this thread would be ideal for you to follow.

The story begins with Randy who lives in upstate New York near Lake George in the Adirondacks.   His healing

retreat center is a quiet and peaceful place built around an energy vortex.  When I arrived to visit Randy, I had already been working with him and well on onto developing the social video web series.  With in the first ten minutes of relaxing on the couch,  I fell asleep in mid-sentence while talking to Randy.  When I woke, he told me it's was the energy vortex is causing my body to be tired.

I had done one video for Randy a year previous to my visit.  He was conducting a retreat for woman who

had recently been diagnosed with breast cancer.  His treatment removed the tumors without need traditional

medicine - chemo, radiation and surgery.  My view for these woman was why not try it.  There is time before

traditional medicine is schedule to work with Randy.

Essentially, Randy modality of healing helps recharge the body's immune system.  In doing so, the body has the power to heal itself of all types of diseases including cancer.  This idea is what I experienced. Thus, I wanted to build a story around my experience with Randy.  In The Flow was launched.

My objective has been to learn more about healing through the process of building awareness to a wide audience. Hopefully, the social video format will have the type of engagement needed to cause a viral swarm around the content.  I'm going to use my expertise to help create the spark.

A social video campaign begins with engaging content. Engaging content is about a compelling story.  How you find those compelling stories may take time or a health crises as in my case.  Opening your eyes to new ideas as a way to help everyone live a better life is one way in which to finding a compelling story.

Here's 1st video I did for Randy.  I will follow up this post with others in the coming days regarding innovative ways in which to get social video projects funded and distributed.  Stay tune.
