What is SkyDrive?

The SkyDrive is part of the Windows Live services. It is a file hosting services, based on the cloud storage model. Users of the SkyDrive can upload files and access them from any computer, anywhere using an Internet browser. The service is free and provides for up to 25GB of storage space per user. Users have the ability to share files to their personal contacts or make their files available for anyone to access. A Windows Live ID is required to access the SkyDrive.
