As I'm typing this blog, I have just gone through a tough night with my animations.  It started last evening when something went wrong with my laptop.  I spent hours in safe mode, trying to download a driver that was missing.  Then I just went into system restore and cleared everything up--or so I thought.

My virus-blocking software had blocked a whole lot of viruses, and I spent a lot more time removing them.  But the more blocked viruses I removed, the more popped up.  Finally, as the sun came up, my laptop was all right, I could continue animating, I finished a Mother's Day short--and I'm all wiped out!

Now I usually take trials like this as a sign that I am on the right track.  And after this mighty wearying night of glitches, I'm more convinced that I'm really on the right track.  Life doesn't always go as planned, and anything worth having is worth going through the inevitable pains.  To paraphrase Mother Teresa, I know God doesn't let me go through what I cannot bear, but I wish He didn't trust me so much!
