Why am I a Muslim?

I am going to be very honest here today. I am not a Muslim by choice. I am a Muslim by birth, which I am grateful for, but there are few things I would like to highlight which comes and conflicts my own thoughts sometimes.

I see and hear stories about people who convert to Islam and then they devote their entire existence to Islamic ways (which should be the duty of every Muslim) but when I look at myself and compare my style of living to theirs', I see a huge difference between both of us. Deep inside somewhere I realized that I don't deserve to be a Muslim. The one who converted should've been born a Muslim not me but then again there's this factor that if he was to born a Muslim, maybe he wouldn't have been such a good Muslim then, just like me.

But the thing is that people like me (who are Muslims by birth) should be the role models for the non-believers so that people can convert by looking at us but today the whole scenario is opposite to what it should be in reality and this is the major thing that boggles me whenever my mind thinks of this scenario.

This is possibly the worst thing that can happen to a Muslim that he himself is not practicing his own religion when the whole world is.

I mean what could be worse than that today the non-believers (kaafir) are reading, understanding and researching on Islam more than any Muslim in the world. Muslims don't know their own religion more than non-believers, who know Islam more than Muslims themselves! This is the worse thing that can happen to us today.

Now I am not a very good believer myself (which I am ashamed of) but I just thought to write this blog to aware and tell you guys that friends, this is our only chance. ONLY! Please, wake up.
