Why Should I Re-Watch A Movie?

Posted on at

It's rarely the case that I watch a movie or a TV series twice because I thought I'd rather take that time to watch another film that I haven't seen yet before, not to mention about my habit to replay scenes that I liked.

As I've mentioned in my MB, there's this Korean drama that I've just finished watching this past December that left a deep impression on me . And then now, I felt like watching it again 1) if it will still make the same impact on me as it did the first time.

Aside from the aforementioned, another good thing that I see in re-watching is 2) you are able to pick up the little details you hadn't noticed before. Especially those cryptic ones the writer already left right at the beginning of the episode that you'd only realize as you reached towards the ending.

Another thing, I guess this would be the time that I'd be able 3) to look closely on the actors' skills, on their facial expressions unlike the first time that your eyes moved between the subtitles and actors.

Rewatching a film/tv series is like re-reading a book for me. It gives you a way to savor those emotions at leisure by the renewed appreciation.
