- The first thing that is required to have free windows 10 update is that either you already have windows 7 or 8.1 or else it cannot be updated

- Start to Update windows ( you can find the option in control panel) until you see windows icon on the right bottom side of your task bar

- Click on the windows 10 icon when it appears and then you would be  registered to have an update for windows 10
