Latest by 15^th August, 2017, India is expected to have the world's largest 750MW solar power plant in Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh. The project has been undertaken as a joint venture by the state government of Madhya Pradesh with the Solar Energy Corporation of India. On its completion it will pip America's 550-megawatt Desert Sunlight solar project in California which has been commissioned a few days ago.
