DESCRIPTION

This is a 3D zoetrope I made with balsa wood. It spins at 45rpm on the record deck and when filmed with a high shutter speed the carefully spaced out frames lock into place and produce the illusion of animation.

I've been working on various zoetrope projects for a few years now, and am currently building my most complicated one yet, so keep an eye out for that if you're interested...
