Kaveh Alizade is a plastic surgeon who is working as a volunteer with Global Medical Relief Fund. He treated injured people during the Iraq war and later on started his collaboration with Elissa Montanti for GMRF.
He treated Marzia, an Afghan girl who lost one of her eyes in a gun shot. With the collaboration of Cure Hospital in Kabul, Afghanistan, Kaveh and his team travel back and forth to train Afghan plastic surgeons, the first one being an Afghan woman.
