In this interview, USAID's Chief Innovation Officer, Maura O'Neil talks about the main factors that empower women in developing countries. She says that women should step up and step out, and what Women's Annex is doing in Afghanistan is beneficial for them. O'Neil also states that education is the key to empowering women, and having access to wireless broadband as well as technology is necessary for the development of all women in Central and South Asia. O'Neil's message for Afghan women is to believe in themselves and go for their goals. Inside each of us, there is an opportunity and creativity that help us to go for what we want.
