Eric Bana Interview for “Closed Circuit”

Uploaded on Monday 26 August 2013

DESCRIPTION

It’s always a pleasure interviewing Eric Bana. The Australian actor is always sweet and knowledgeable when it comes to the themes of his films. In “Closed Circuit,” Bana stars as a defense attorney who must team up with his ex (Rebecca Hall) acting as the Special Advocate. But in the U.K., it’s a law that when it’s a closed trial, both the defense attorney and the special advocate must not communicate when evidence is presented. John Crowley directed the film from the script written by Steven Knight.

In this interview, we talked about:

*** How did he get attracted to playing a defense attorney for “Closed Circuit?”
*** The interesting concept of the film about closed proceedings in the U.K.
*** The drag of the U.K. lawyers – the wig and the cape! How does it truly work?
*** How did he prepare for the role?
*** What about the physicality of the role? Rowing a boat all across the Thames River?
