“FLASH” is a documentary-style web series that explores the worlds of today’s trendsetters in fashion, beauty, music and art, and how the creative culture influences them.

In this episode, get to know Southern California band Italian Japanese and what life is like as independent musicians in today’s fast-paced social culture.

What started out as a friendly conversation over sushi and cocktails with Allen Nicholas (vocalist) about his band, turned into a 10-month long assignment that encompassed hours of filming, planning, coordinating, designing...and waiting. But just like any other passion-filled project, it was all worth it. In the end, Mahal Style produced a beautiful story about Italian Japanese and their experience working in the indie music business.
