Journal de France has the traditional characteristics of a travel journal. We follow Raymond Depardon as he travels with his camera along country roads to find the remnants of a culture, of a memory. On the other side of the movie camera, Claudine Nougaret is a constant presence in Depardon’s films. Her loving eye discloses us treasured clips and outtakes.
