Fawzia Koofi is an Afghan women's rights activist and politician. Originally from Badakhshan province, she is currently a Member of Parliament in Kabul and the Vice President of the National Assembly. In this interview Koofi shows us the amount of courage it takes to inspire change. She talks about her early life and what gives her the strength to face danger everyday. She also talks about the effect the U.S. pulling troops from Afghanistan will have, city life vs. village life, and breaking taboos in her society.
