DESCRIPTION

Our desire to travel to Mars was encapsulated in the Mars-500 project which wrapped last week after a long 520 day period. Designed to simulate an environment where humans would be travelling in confined spaces over long distances, these projects help capture data to help us better equip ourselves for long space travel.
