DESCRIPTION

Session Road is the center of Baguio City. It is where most businesses are located like shops (Porta Vaga Mall), cafe and bars (Bohemian, Session 108, Rumour's), hotels (456 Hotel, City Center Hotel, Bloomfield), dining places (Solibao, Volante, La Comida de Antonio), banks (BDO, BPI, DBP) clinics, and other private businesses. Before there were malls here in the city, there were cinemas along this road too but those cinemas then closed. You can also find here popular fastfood like Army Navy, Chowking, Jollibee, Starbucks, KFC, etc).

It is said that the name Session Road was derived from the fact that it was used as a road going to the old Baden-Powell Hall where the first Philippine Commission had its session from April 22 to June 11, 1904.

Baguio City holds its Panagbenga Flower Festival parades here every February of each year. At the last week of Panagbenga, this road is closed to vehicles and stalls are put up on the road.

Different food, products from participating nearby provinces, and other stuff are displayed and sold during that time and what is called the Session Road in Bloom.

This is a short clip of this year's event. All videos were taken by me.
