DESCRIPTION

Shifting sand is a short documentary i made while my first year in Masters program at School of Visual Arts.
I met my character accidentally while walking nearby Union Square in NYC. I was so impressed by his colorful extraordinary work that he made in from of amazed crowd of people. I completely fell in love with it, took photo, posted on instagram... you know - standard behavior of a modern city raised human being.
But when my teachers and classmates saw this photo on other social medias, they all said that i should've taken that guy's contacts and make a film about him. I was really upset that i haven't done that. I walked many times around Union sq since then but haven't seen him. And when one day i met him again in Washington sq park I was the happiest person in the world....
