Uploaded on Tuesday 3 September 2013

DESCRIPTION

Social media has had a big impact in politics with the Obama campaigns in the 2008 and 2012 US elections offering an excellent example of how its use can get people out to vote. With the Federal election campaign in Australia drawing to a close this week, can the same be said in Australia? Steve and Ben have a look at social media and the 2013 Australian Federal Election to see if social will have an impact on the result. The guys also discuss the film Pacific Rim and how it may be 'designed to advance US cultural domination of China', a new super-heavy weight element confirmed, and how car technology leads drivers to distraction.
