Mitchell Starc, the aussie pacer, the highest ranked ODI bowler of today and one of the best in the world today, recorded the fastest delivery in test cricket today. Now you must be wondering about the speed and how this man achieved it. At Perth, on WACA ground, in a match that's currently happening between New Zealand and Australia, bowling to Ross Taylor, the world's fastest current bowler bowled a searing yorker which Ross Taylor successfully defended. This particular ball was recorded at wait for it, 160.4 kph. Yes, you read that right. The fastest ball to have been ever bowled in test cricket's history. Starc got his name into the history books today. Starc, 25, had been bowling in excess of 150 kph throughout the day. The wind was also helping him, being with his bowling. He produced numerous chances of catches and dismissals, but unfortunately wasn't helped by the fielders much, with two of easy catches going down, albeit very fast. Both of the dangerous man, Brendon McCullum. Although McCullum couldn't do much damage anyways, but still it matters. In the end of the third day at the WACA, Starc held two wickets to his name and New Zealand closed on 510/6 on the third day's play. Let's see what happens in the next two days!
Fastest test delivery ever and also, fith fastest of all time.
