Hello wonderful members of the site – specifically to new members of bitLanders. I am writing this post primarily for the newbies. In this blog, I am giving away different and excellent bitLanders tip that aims to guide newbies in their bitLanders journey.

Although the title of this post is already as straightforward as it can be, I will breakdown the contents of this post in bullet form for better understanding. Basically, this blog is like a tutorial that makes the reader realize the following important aspects

  • STOP the nonsense in GC and Inbox
  • Things to AVOID after joining bitLanders
  • Steps on how to reach the Leaderboard

Please Stop the Nonsense

Despite the good intentions of this post's purpose, it actually stemmed from the nonsense things that are quite annoying in the Global Chat and received personally in the Inbox.

I have been a member of bitLanders for the past few years already. In this long tenure at the site, I would receive from time to time (more frequent than one would like) certain stupid questions and requests at my inbox. For members who are not aware, before bitLanders launched the Global Chat, a member can already send a direct message to another member. This messaging system, that appears to have no character limit, will be received through the "Inbox".

Of course, as technology improves, so is the messaging mediums of the site. Nowadays, bitLanders member may opt to use (or should I say prefer) the Global Chat to contact other members. The Global Chat, as the name implies, is the internal chat system of bitLanders. The GC (Global Chat), with its direct approach and real-time functionality – it seems to be a huge improvement over the older method of messaging.

Anyway, in most of the time, the GC is almost always flooded by newbies asking what can they do to earn here in bitLanders. Some are asking for directions, questions, and information – that quite frankly, the answers of which are easily and readily accessible if they just took the time to roam around the explore the site upon joining.

Unfortunately, one cannot discern if the questions are valid (if these newbies are truly having difficulty navigating the site) or are they just too lazy to explore. To make matters worst, some of the older members would answer in jest. Although the queries have been answered, it indirectly makes fun of the newbies.

When the Global Chat was first launched, I am assuming that the team has envisioned it to have a greater purpose with all its modern features. The GC is there so that members can have a meaningful conversation and help each other – not to make fun of one another.

Things to Avoid when you are a newbie in the bitLanders

Apart from stopping the nonsense in the Global Chat (the topic discussed directly above in case you are not reading and simply scanning this post), this section will give out other bitLander tips when you are a newbie. bitLanders is a great site to earn a little on the side so be sure to be aware of what you are allowed to do and what you cannot do. It would be a drag if you would be kicked out or banned simply because you are not aware of some simple rules.

bitLanders Tip 1: Avoid Spamming

Despite this being the most important one, I'm not going to delve too much in this topic because, logically speaking, spamming is never a good thing. I am pretty sure that in all other online sites (not just social networking sites), there is a rule against spamming – and in most cases, these rules are grounds for a member to be kicked out or be banned from that site. The same principle applies here in bitLanders. The team has little to no tolerance when it comes to spamming. So to stay in the good side of things, don't spam.

Strangely, some members still do it. For the longest time, I have seen many members (mostly newbies) asking other members to sub to them or click their work. I would advise against such practice simply because it has no bearing and would only land you in hot waters. If you would read the buzz score update of Micky, you will see that the major determinants of buzz score does not includes those two.

THE SOLUTION: Read the FAQ and Write Interesting Posts

Obviously, at this point, newbies are probably wondering how does bitLanders define Spam? Luckily, I am kind enough to dig this particular microblog posted by the official bitLanders account. As can be seen on the screenshot below, bitLanders posted the microblog three years ago (I know I read about it somewhere and good thing I have a pretty sharp memory)

Anyway, let your work speak for itself. If you write posts that is interesting and beautiful, you won't need to tell other members to buzz it – they will gladly read and buzz it themselves.

bitLanders Tip 2: Avoid Thinking of Quickly Getting Rich

I have to be honest with you – you will not earn millions in bitLanders at the quickest possible time. This is simply because the site is not designed to be like that and not advertised to be as such. Basically, what I'm saying is that, if you joined bitLanders with the mindset of getting huge lumps of money on a daily basis, you'll end up getting disappointed.

To highlight my point, let us look at the following example and illustration:

In a nutshell, even if you do found a way to topple the leaderboard's number one, you would only be receiving $180 for the month based on the given example. I'm not sure how far that amount will bring you, but if it were in my living standards, it is not enough to pay off electricity bills, car gasoline, and even groceries.

THE SOLUTION: Change your mindset to "There is still Money that can be earned"

If you have been paying attention (I have this hunch that some members don't really read the blog contents), then you'll figure out that bitLanders is not a get-rich scheme. But this doesn't mean that there is no money to be earned. Let me just emphasize that – THERE WOULD ALWAYS BE MONEY THAT CAN BE EARNED in bitLanders (just don't put your expectations too high).

There are many scam sites on the internet that promises to pay, but at the end of the day, no payment will come. If you discovered bitLanders, then you are LUCKY to know that it is one of those legitimately paying sites.
If you would look again at the example, $180 is not bad at all. It actually is quite good depending on your country's living standards. Besides, where can you get that amount of money just by interacting and having fun eh?

bitLanders Tip 3: Avoid Plagiarism

Now that you realize that in bitLanders, you can earn a decent amount on the side to augment your income, please don't do anything stupid just to reach the leaderboard. What I'm talking about is plagiarism.

Plagiarism is stealing. If you take others work (or any other existing content), submit it as your own without incorporating your own thoughts into that writing, then that is just plain stealing. It is stealing the other person's work (material).

For obvious reasons, nobody likes a thief and nobody likes when their work is stolen. Plagiarists and stolen material is just bad for business. This is the reason why bitLanders have no tolerance for plagiarism – the team does not allow its members to stole the works of others.

If the info above does not scare the plagiarists in you, then the video below probably will.

THE SOLUTION: Write about what interests you

Don't stress yourself about writing numerous topics that is beyond you just so you can reach the leaderboard. Do not plagiarize and submit it for review because you'll just end up in trouble. Remember, there would always be money to be made here in bitLanders. And if you would look at the leaderboard, the differences in earnings between the ranked members is not that far (except for number one spot in case you'll point that out in the comment section)

Again, the best that you can do is not to stress yourself out submitting a blog. Just submit on a regular phase and write things that interests you so that you will not be pressured when writing.

How to reach the Leaderboard

At this point, if you read and truly digested the discussions above, then you should have a general idea on how to reach the leaderboard at a fairly reasonable time frame. If you are a newbie, then submitting blogs is the way to go. REGULARLY submitting high quality blogs and ALWAYS getting the highest rating is quickest way to reach the leaderboard.

However, below are some tips that should tremendously help you out.

bitLanders Tip 1 when submitting blogs: Be Smart About It

This basically means, that when you submit blogs, you don't do so just for the heck of it. But when you do submit blogs, ensure that you will get the most off it by choosing to write about those Higher Rewards topic that Micky gives out. Be sure to keep an eye on those.

bitLanders Tip 2 when submitting blogs: Choose a topic from Querlo

Querlo is dubbed as the Chatbot with a Heart. If you would take time to visit Querlo, you will see that it has different topics to offer. Since Querlo is managed and owned by the same team behind bitLanders, blogging about Querlo topics somehow has an edge over other topics.

Since we are near at the end of this post, I would suggest looking at the provided Querlo chat below. Get some ideas from the questions and give an honest answer or opinion.

After going through the Querlo Survey Chat, then you have probably noticed that it is with regard to a recent partnership endeavor by bitLanders and HSBC. Covered in the partnership is Querlo will provide its service and technology to support HSBC's Accelerating Ambition "A New Model For Fashion Retail"

It would be advisable to blog about this topic based on the inputs you got on the given HSBC survey chat as blogging about this topic will offer higher rewards.

Read the mechanics here: Blog for Querlo & HSBC Accelerating Ambition "A New Model For Fashion Retail" and earn higher Buzz Bonus rewards!; Submit a blog; and incorporate all the knowledge that you have learned on this post.
