Today we commemorate the 70th Anniversary of Leyte landing, the day when  Douglas Mc Arthur went back to the Philippines as he promised to save the country from Japanese colony. 

 

Spain, Japan and America colonized the Philippines and was able to bring a lot of changes. Spain has great influence with regards to our religion, which is Roman Catholic. Japan? I don't know what they contributed to our country. American on the other hand, has helped our country so much. They bought our country from Spain and led it until Filipino people learned how to rule their fellow men and country. They might have colonized our country, but atleast they ended Filipino slavery from Spanish priest.
