Ten Most Influential Female Politicians of Pakistan

  1. Fatima Jinnah

    Fatima Jinnah was the sister of the founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. She mostly accompanied him in his political campaigns and was herself an active political leader of the women of subcontinent. She had a graceful appearance and carried herself in a manner that no one else would ever duplicate her. She is indeed a role model for the whole nation.
  2. Benazir Bhutto

    Benazir Bhutto former Prime Minister of Pakistan was a great politician. She was the head of Pakistan People’s Party after the death of her father. Her able leadership was admired all over the world. Unfortunately she was assassinated in Rawalpindi during her election campaign.
  3. Fahmeeda Mirza

    Fahmeeda Mirza is another well known face in Pakistan. She is a medical doctor by profession and also worked as the executive of an advertising firm but her career in politics is more exciting. She came into politics because of her husband, Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza who is the co-chairperson of Pakistan People’s Party. She was the first female speaker of the National Assembly.
  4. Hina Rabbani Khar

    Hina rabbani khar has a very glorious political career. She is a very able economists and was the finance minister of Pakistan. She also held the office of foreign ministry. She is the daughter of a great politician Ghulam Noor Rabbani Khar. She is also owner of a private restaurant corporation called "Polo Lounge”.
  5. Kashmala Tariq

    Kashmala Tariq was a well renowned member of National Assembly who was elected from the province of Punjab on reserved seats for women and she a worker of Pakistan Muslim League(Q). She is also a women rights activist in Pakistan.
  6. Shiri Rehman

    Shiri Rehman is another famous politician and a diplomat of Pakistan. She remained minister for information and broadcasting , and also remained Pakistan’s ambassador in the United States.
  7. Shazia Mari

    Shazia Mari was the information minister of the Sindh province in Pakistan. She is a well know politician. She is the daughter of the ex speaker of the Sindh assembly Atta Muhammad and she is a very active worker of Pakistan People’s Party.
  8. Marvi Memon

    A well known politician of the Pakistan Muslim League(N). Marvi Memon got her degree of bachelors in international relations and economics from the London school of economics. She had a high place in army civilian staff during the dictatorship of General Musharraf.
  9. Nilofar Bakhtiyar

    Nilofar Bakhtiyar was another politician who rose in the military regime of General Musharraf. She was the Tourism minister under the Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz. She is also a social worker with great services to humanity.
  10. Sumera Malik

    Sumera Malik is a little bit controversial politician of Pakistan because of her fake bachelors degree. She was a part of the Shaukat Aziz cabinet and was elected under the ticket of Pakistan Muslim League(Q). Then in 2013 she was again elected from the Pakistan Muslim League (N) but unfortunately she could not retain her position due to the fake degree case.
