Upland Moa

Posted on at

In 1986, deep inside the huge cave system of Mount Own, New Zealand, archaelogists came across this well-preserved and terrifying claw. Once they got the claw out of the cave and into they determined that it belong to a giant prehistoric bird known as an uplan moa. Looking at the claw, it's good that they are extinct now.
