No more excuses.

That is how lots of netizens feel after seeing her hardcore training with only one leg.

Chen Yimei, a 22-year-old Sichuan native, has been a devoted athlete in her college’s track and field team since 2012.

A left-leg amputation in a car crash 13 years ago did not cool down her sports fever.

Starting from getting into shape, Chen spent more time training than anyone else.

She heavily practiced one-leg jumping for nine total months before installing a prosthetic limb.

To boost her athleticism, she used to jump 100 meters per set for four sets every day.

After getting an artificial left leg, the gruesome bruises at her amputated end almost became a new affliction.

But with no doubt, some physical pain will not stop her from dreaming to be selected by the national team.

“I’ve gotten used to it,” Chen said, massaging the hurting part. “Everyone said I master this new leg because I only fell down once.”

She will compete in China’s 9th National Para Games for the first time as a professional triple jumper.

Catching up with her national champion teammate is Chen’s goal. “I will try to be as good as her, compete for China, and keep this career rolling,” she said.
