Hip Hop artist Curtis “50-Cent” Jackson pleaded not guilty last week to a domestic violence charge stemming from a June 23 incident with his former girlfriend Daphne Joy Narvaez. Narvaez claims Jackson kicked her and trashed her Toluca Lake, California condo. Police reports indicate there was $7,100 in property damage.

A Los Angeles judge ordered the 38 year old Queens rapper to stay away from Narvaez and not contact her in any way. He must also surrender any firearms in his possession to local law enforcement authorities or sell them to a licensed gun dealer within a specified time frame.

Jackson is due back in court September 4 for domestic violence charges. In an unrelated incident a law official attempted to give the rapper a thick stack of legal papers which had to do with child custody and other legal matters.
