Here are some words you will understand if you have some connection with Memons.

1. Penchaat

Penchaat simply means gossip!

2. Luchhi

Luchhi= naughty/stubborn/grumpy. So, if any Memon calls you Luchhi, that means they don’t like you very much.

3. Wayiri

Wayiri is someone very stubborn. Just another synonym for Luchhi.

4. Ghayla

Ghayla = stupid.

5. Ghandhara

Ghandara = dirty!

6. Bhoos

Literally means to mix and form into a fine paste.

7. Botal

In Urdu botal means bottle but when Memons say it, they are referring to soft drink.

8. Masota

Masota is the official name given to the dirty cloth used in the kitchen to hold hot things – in basically all languages.
