Ali: Today i read a poster that smoking can kill human beings. is that so ? d

Teacher: Yes! As you know , a cigarette is made of dried tobacco leaves, blended together with a number 

of chemicals. As it burnt;  its smoke spreads the harmful effects of different substances such as nicotine, 

tar, carbon dioxide and few cancer causing substances.

ALI: Please tell me the effects of nicotine in particular.

Teacher: Oh, it causes addiction . It damages brain tissues . It causes blood to clot more easily. 

Ali: How does tar harm a smoker,s health ?

Teacher: It damages cells in air passage and in lungs.

Ali: Which is th most harmful substance in tobacco smoke?

Teacher: It is carcinogens . It promotes the growth of cancerous cells in the body.

Ali: It means that smoking is a great health danger.

Teacher: Yes! smoking has killed millions of people around the world.

Ali: How can we we discourage people from smoking .

Teacher:By letting them know about the harmful effects of smoking . You can even guide others to give up smoking.
