I am the sea

you cannot see 

my color from the outside
for it depends
on the sky, on the weather
on my surroundings
on the time
on the location
l can be stormy
or calm
or playful
or raging
l can change
or stay the same
whichever l please
but it all depends
on factors other than me
years ago l was not
what l am now l am restless
and an insomniac
l am ever-changing
for l am the sea
you cannot see my color from the outside
