Bartra feels wanted by Club and by the fans

Marc Bartra has spoken to the press in San Francisco to talk about the first few days of the tour and his situation within the first team after just 10 days of pre-season. The blaugrana centre back said that the side “are working hard on fitness.” “We are training in nice cities and with great support,” he added on the subject of the fans who have received the team in both Los Angeles and San Francisco.
With regards to the new season, Bartra has set personal and collective goals. Aside from “keep winning with the team”, the blaugrana wants to “beat the stats from last season, keep improving and play as many games as possible in the starting 11.”

Bartra touched on his situation at the Club. He made it clear that he feels fine in the team and he has had all the necessary support: “In my head it has always been about playing at Barça; it’s the best place for me to be.” He continued to reveal: “I feel loved by the fans and the Club.” About how much he will play this season, Bartra said, “..the more competition there is, the better for everyone.”

The blaugrana 15 confessed that “the Barça fans don’t deserve the UEFA fine”, at the same time remembering the atmosphere at the Champions League final in Berlin.
