The Govt. of Thailand planed a beautiful airport in Bankok city many decades ago to replace the over stretched  Don Mueang International air port with the Suvarnabhumi International Airport.

 

The construction of airport started in 1997 and the construction period was about 8 years but due to many delayed the Suvarnabhumi International Airport was opened in 2007 for the flights.

The Airport code is BKK.The suvarnabhumi International Airport is a major hub for Thailand,South-East Asia and the other Asian destinations.

 

 

The Suvarnabhumi International Airport has 10 passenger check-in gates and the terminal has 7 passenger concourses A to G.

The concourses A and B is for the domestic flights and concourses C to G  is for international flights.

 

The Suvarnabhumi International Airport the world sixteenth busiest and the Aisa's sixth busiest airport. The building of Suvarnabhumi International Airport the forth largest single building in the world.

 

The Suvarnabhumi International Airport handled  around 53 to 50 million of passengers every year and round about 90 to 100 domestic and international  Airlines operated there flights from Suvarnabhumi International Airport.
