What is Beta-carotene?
Beta-carotene is a kind of antioxidant. It belongs to the group of carotenoids. Beta-carotene is known to be an anticancer and heart protector among the antioxidants. It is used by our body when it is converted in one of the essential nutrients, the Vitamin A.
