Breakfast: The Most Essential Meal of the Day

      As a part of the culture, Filipinos eat three meals a day which includes breakfast, lunch and supper. In order to meet the proper nutrition needed by every individual, all meals mentioned need careful planning. It doesn't need to be expenssive. What is important is the nutritional value of the food to be served.

      Many people skip or eat too light breakfast because they are in a hurry. Then, when they feel run down at about ten o'clock, they wonder why. Every individuals need energy for the whole day's activities. They need to eat a heavy breakfast before going to school or to work to feel energized and lively the whole day.

      What should be included in a good breakfast? Breakfast includes a protein food such as eggs or milk, carbohydrates such as bread or cereals, beverage and fruit in season. Fresh fruit juices are most prepared to drink than the powderized one which we can buy from the market because there's no chemicals added on it. Fruits and vegetables are good source of vitamins too.

      You can have happy, healthy and alert members of the family. So, always keep in mind that breakfast is the most essential meal of the day.
