Known as the "Boy General" because of his age. Del Pilar had distinguished himself as a field commander in  a series of engagement against Spanish Army in Bulacan.

He was the first casualty during the Battle of Tirad Pass. A captain warned him not to take a peek because the american snipers are everywhere but he didn't listen, he took a peek and got shot. The sniper was able to notice him as a high ranking officer because of his clothes was different from others. Del Pilar was already dead even before the real shooting took place.
