The victory against Levante continues yet another perfect start to a league season for FC Barcelona.

Every season from 2012/13 to the present, the last four years, Barça have started their Liga campaign with four straight wins. Athletic Bilbao, Málaga, Atlético Madrid and now Levante have all been defeated by the Catalans, who stay top of the Spanish First Division for another week. Here’s a juicy selection of other bits of trivia from Sunday night’s game at the Camp Nou.

Levante have lost on all seven of their league visits to the Camp Nou over the years, and also lost the two times they played Barça away in the cup.

On Sunday night, Casadesús scored Levante’s first league goal at the Camp Nou in five attempts. The last Levante player to get on the scoresheet was Stuani back in the 2010/11 season.

Leo Messi has scored more goals against Levante than any other player: 15.

Gerard Gumbau of Barça B made his First Division debut last night, although he had played for the first team before in the Copa del Rey.

That was Marc Bartra’s fifth goal in 83 official appearances for the first team.

Dani Alves played his 347th game for Barça, thus moving ahead of Jose Mari Bakero to go 21st in the all-time appearances list.

The Brazilian full-back also won the most balls in last night’s match (14) and made the most completed passes (105).

Barça totalled 621 passes, which dwarfed the mere 242 made by Levante.
