Daredevil walks slackline between two cliffs

Posted on at

French highliner Nathan Paulin walked on a slackline 469 meters above the ground between two cliffs last Friday.

Paulin performed the stunt during the Marmotte Highline Project held in Lans-en-Vercors near Grenoble in eastern France, an event that brought together the world’s best highliners.

Different from the usual tightrope walking, slacklines require better balancing skills, due to the bouncy nature of the rope. But the bounce also adds to the fun for both the audience and the performers, as they can do more fancy tricks.

Paulin is the world record holder for highline walking. Previously, he amazed many by walking 610 meters above the deserts in Inner Mongolia this May.
