Doctor No 1962 Film Review

Posted on at

In 1962 the film Doctor No which was directed by Terence Young was released, I have for the first time seen a James Bond film (the first of the films). The strong narrative of finding a missing colleague kept me guessing what was going to happen next.

As the film was made many years ago is it lacking in sound, I could not hear any atmosphere sounds so there where gaps, the gun shots shows how old the film is as they are not loud and effect (it does'nt make me jump or notice the action), I however found that the James Bond theme tune plays when Bond is showing supreme strength and wanting to be noticed by the other cast.

The camera angles used are good they are interesting to look at as there is movement going on. My favouite shot is where a cast/actor is walking through the door following the gun and shots an empty figure on the bed in which James Bond reacts.

I did like watching this film and would recommend it to other people to watch.
