Echo of Love

Through coaxing and pleading I was made to yield,

But you too, by forswearing, lost your faith and creed.

Having got my heart gratis,lo,he syes; No use''

Instead of thanking me, behold, blame on me he heaps.

The desire-deserted heart presents a fearsome sight,

When the guest departs, the house is but bereaved.

Ask me not what all I saw in the idol- house,

In faith,of my zealous faith I was there relieved.

Unveiling my secret heart hurt my self-esteem,

But I did make my point, did explain my need.

Although he wasn,t with my courier pleased.

Thank God  he knew my name, did pay some heed.

Sense and poise, strenth and vigour have left me one and all.,

My goods have gone before me ,I,m about to leave.
