Eden T20 cricket match between India and South Africa called off.

It is very unfortunate that the third and final T20 International cricket match between India and South Africa at the Eden Gardens in Calcutta was on Thursday abandoned without a ball being bowled because of a wet outfield. It is also learnt that the ground was not covered properly despite predictions of rain. Thus the failure to start the match even after seven hours shows not only the poor drainage system of the iconic Eden Gardens but also portrays Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) in a very poor light.
