Mars One is a mission by NASA to colonize Mars. NASA along with other space agencies has been working on Mars project since many decades and recent discovery of water on Mars has made the chances of living on Mars even more significant. Earlier, a private organization was planning to send humans to Mars but now NASA officially has shown interest to lead the one-sided trip to Mars.

More than 200,000 applications were submit for this one-sided trip to Mars and it included nationals of various countries. Out of those 200,000 applicants, 1000 candidates were selected for further review and one of those selected candidates include a Pakistani retired helicopter pilot Mr. Reginad Foulds.

Foulds was born in Pakistan in 1954. He joined Pak Army after completing his college and retired in 1992. Later, he moved to Canada with his wife and three kids. The list of selected candidates also include three Indians, two Iranians and two Chinese. However final selection will only include 100 candidates so lets see who make it to the final list. Let's be hopeful if he becomes the first Pakistani to land on Mars.
