The local community board rejected Pranna's application for a new liquor license. According to Bouncer Chronicles, boozed up brunchers could be seen stumbling and drunk before the sunset. A 10 minute video showed clips that were recorded over 3 weekends. Pranna's $45 dollar brunch includes unlimited mixed cocktails.. 

Pranna owner Rajiu Sharma said his business can't operate without a liquor license. "We have a few disgruntled neighbors who have a strong influence with the community board and they made it their mission to shut us down."
