Fly Like An Eagle

Fly Like An Eagle

You would see and experience the beauty above if you appreciate every simple details of God's creations.

Since I was a child, I always dreamed to fly like an eagle. I even made wings out of native materials and real feathers of chickens from our small poultry house.

I was thrown back to the past as I was traveling alone back to the Metro. There's a pinch of pain leaving home again.

Vacation is really over now after six long weeks of relaxation. I am going back to the city life. A stressful one but it is where I belong now.

Taken off the Kalibo International Airport

Our flight was delayed again for an hour as expected. I was just lucky to have picked an earlier flight at 12:35 in the afternoon. My nephew who is working in an airline told me that delays in flight is frequent nowadays because of airport traffic congestions. He's definitely right about it. It happened to both of my flights from and going back to the Metro.

The western towns of the province of Aklan

Actually, I have fear of heights. However, the scenic aerial view is superb. It always amazes me except one which was a stormy evening flight. There was a turbulence that time. Anyways, my fears vanished when I saw the three little children in front seats next to my row clapping their hands happily. They thought we were in a racking playground. LOL!

The works of science are really inspiring and admirable. I could not imagine how this heavy metal flies even above the clouds. The wonders of nature are also mystical and incredible. The highways were like thin silver lines as seen from above. The mountains and hills were just rows of humps. We are really just a dot on earth.

Tons of snow white thick cotton clouds

I always love clouds. I see to it that I could take photos of clouds in all my clear daylight flights. Clouds are natural artwork for me.

The mountain ranges are also amazing. Some peaks are already touching the clouds. They always keep the wonders and mysteries of God's creation.

How could you resists the beauty of nature as seen from above?

As seen from above, I could not imagine how crowded the Metropolis nowadays. However, it looks great with its neon lights during fine weather evening flights. It seems like a huge Christmas Park adorned with millions of lights. But still, trees covered with fireflies are mysterious and more amazing for me.

As the airplane landed at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), I felt so empty. I really miss home and my family more now. If I would be given a choice where to stay, chances are country living would be my preference after two decades of living in the Metro. Life there is simple yet happy and fulfilling.

Well as the saying goes, "Life is so short, so we must live it to the fullest".
