Ginger and it's health benefits

Ginger


     Before when I am sick or having common colds or flu I always take synthetic medicines, which is not really doing me any good. About a couple of years ago a friend of mine introduced me to alternative medicines. I started to take interests in growing some herbal plants like oregano, sambong, lemongrass, and different kinds of fruit bearing trees and vegetables that has lots of health benefits. One of these that I planted is what we call luyang dilaw or turmeric in English.



 


    Ginger has lots of health benefits for me I normally make a ginger tea everyday. It helps in aiding digestion. If I have a sore throat or common colds I don't take any medicines anymore. I just used whatever herbal plants we have. Ginger tea helps me in relieving my sore throat. Ginger is also used as a poultice to reduce inflammation. It is great for people with arthritis.  


     What I have written here is based on my own personal experienced in using ginger and adding it to every food I eat. There are a lot more of health benefits ginger has to offer.


Spice it up with ginger.
