Coming from the land of Thailand and Myanmar, the medium-sized and treasured species of Gurney’s Pitta are at number eight. It feasts on worms, insects and slugs. A brisk decrease in their populace is witnessed because of the development of palm oil plantations. Its head is black aside from the crown which blue. Its tail is also blue. Gurney’s Pitta are nominated as ‘The Most Wanted Bird’ in Thailand.
