Happy Posts

I think I need to write happier posts, and not worry about mean store managers, and stupid congressman. These are just subjects that I felt needed venting or having attention drawn to them.

I think a great deal of happiness is a state of mind. My daughter is the breakfast manager/carhop at Sonic, and I always love to hear about the people that open with her.
Coral is a very funny person, and she’s very positive and keeps looking for that perfect, happy person to open with, so they can have fun while working.
Her newest workmate is a girl, and besides talking happily about Korean anime and music, she is so negative.
Her response every few seconds to some minute, imagined, catastrophe (e.g.someone trying to order, something out of place, the fact that she’s at work, etc.) is REALY. She says the word in an angry, frustrated, my life is going to end any moment type of voice.

Coral is actually happy with new “REALY” employee, because she’s a step up from the last person that opened with her. This old girl stared at her constantly, breathed down her neck and asked the same questions over and over again (is this how we bag fries, she actually asked the store manager this question while he was talking to the district manager--she’s worked there three years). Coral would grit her teeth and reply yes, and the girl would always have the same response, “I’m just checking, because I really wanted to know.”
The girl is not mentally challenged at all, but just a weird individual.

I can’t help but laugh, because the way Coral tells the story is so funny. I’ve been laughing the entire time I wrote this post. I think she should be a stand up comic, but she doesn’t think so.
Hopefully this will be a happier post, than the last two.
