History in Pakistan

Pakistan is a country with the area of around 303,374 sq mi. Pakistan which was a part of India before got separated on 14 August 1947. Hence, they celebrate their independence day on 14 august. But before that when it was a part of India it had a great and powerful history. Starting from Soanian Culture (period 500,000 ca to 125,000 bp) in the Siwalik region of Indian subcontinent is the oldest culture of India (now part of Pakistan). In the starting of second millennium, BCE the civilization that followed Rig Veda existed. Remains of Indus Valley civilization is still there. After Vedic period Achaemenid Empire rise. Alexander the Great defeated Achaemenid Empire. After the death of Alexander, Chandragupta Maurya conquered his empire. Chandragupta Maurya, who threw Nada Dynasty of Magadha, established Maurya Empire and he conquered the Indus valley region.  The Maurya Empire was one of the largest Empire in the worlds history. Many Empire raised and felled including Gandhara Civilization, Indo Scythians, Kushan Empire, Gupta Empire, Rajput Dynasties. According to archeologist, there is list of civilization, which actually ruled Pakistan. British divided British India in 4 parts India, East Pakistan, West Pakistan and Kashmir. Later Maharaja of Kashmir handover the Kashmir part to India for security as Pakistan attacked Kashmir in the Year 1947.
