Hong Kong: Children experience caged life

Posted on at

A group of Hong Kong children had a close-up experience of the living conditions of caged livestock last week, according to the Hong Kong Non-Profit Making Veterinary Clinic.

The children volunteered to go into the stuffy and narrow cages and were asked to stay in for five minutes to get the real experience.

“I have not received any complaints from parents. If more schools would like to have their students engaged in the activity, I am willing to offer the life education,” Mark Mak, the organizer of the activity, told the on.cc.

Children insisted that they will never buy any animal as their pet after taking part in the experience.
