HOW ROYAL ENFIELD ENTERED IN INDIAN ARMY!

            Enfield is a motor cycle company, who has made royal Enfield bikes. The legacy of weapon mentioned on the logo. This company manufactured more bikes to the British war development.

                               These bikes were painted in red and sold in America as Indian motor cycle. From 1955 the Indian government looked motor cycles for its police and army for patrolling countries Border.

                                 The 350 cc Bullets were sent from the Red ditch factory in kit form for assembly in India, but Enfield India Ltd soon developed the factory and produced complete Motorcycles independently, this is how bullet bike came to army field.

                                Defense uses, STD 350cc bikes, without any modifications. But these bikes have very limited uses, mostly used by the Military Police and for Piloting purpose. The 1955 model remained almost unchanged for years and Madras produces over 20,000 Bullets annually.
