When you bought your android phone for the first time everything was working as fast as that of a jet but after using it for a couple of months, the phone slows up and lags randomly. Why should this happen? Android is always updating their products and want people to purchase those product, so in my opinion i think this one of their marketing strategies so, in other to save us from spending money on another android device let see how we could increase our android performance to prevent android from fishing money from us.

#1.Delete live wallpapers: This live wallpapers drain your battery and also uses a lot of resources on your android device. Deleting those live wallpapers might be of help in increasing your ram speed.

#2.Free up ram: Press and hold the home key to call up running app list and then swipe away all apps that are currently not in use. This reduces load on your ram space and increases the performance of your phone.

#3.Reduce animations: Go to settings>About phone>then tab on build number(3 times)till it tells you "you are the developer">go back and tab on developers options>then turn off windows animation, transition animation and animator duration scale. One reason why i recommend this is that, it reduces the time that apps take to load and also increases the app drawer speed.

#4.Clear cache data: Cache are junk file and folder attached to apps and other folder you normally install to your phone, therefore doing away with this folders really help to increase your android performance speed. To do this go to settings on your phone>then tab on storage>and then tab to clear cache on all individual storage, you can decide to do the same for your SD storage.

#5.Move apps to SD: I normally do this on my android phone with either link2SD or AppSD. I know you might be having other options to doing this, but i recommend doing this to give your internal memory some breathing space in optimizing apps on your android device.

#6.Upload to cloud: Cloud storage are simply know as online storage which can be used to backup files and access them online from any location or device, eg Google drive, Mega drive etc etc. This makes very easy to access files without any hustle. You can learn how to this more from here(how to upload files to google drive.)

#7.Reduce widgets: Widgets really pull up a lot of resources on device and it also drain your battery. Reducing widgets or doing away with widgets really help to increase your android performance.

#8.Stay away from App booster and battery savers: It's funny how the name sounds, but this booster and battery savers does not seems to do it claims it does, funny right? They are malicious apps that really slow down your device when installed on your phone, therefore staying from this boosters and optimizer save your device from headache and stomach pain(just joking).....

Perform a factory reset if your phone is still not responding to the effect of this methods..... If you have other options i did not include in this blog, please share it with us in the comment box.
