I wouldn't mind

Bitlanders now offers bonus payment for writing about your countries televisions shows, with U.S. television shows excluded.  By implications, Americans who would write about the shows of their own country, but who are excluded from earning the bonus, cannot receive the bonus.

I would not mind receiving that Bitlander passed a rule which distributed income so as to exclude myself.  For one thing, the bonus is after gem investment, which I do not do, so I would not benefit anyway.  For another thing, Americans and Canadians apparently benefit disproportionately from the movie advertisements, for a reason I don't understand.  Moreover, I don't care that Bitlanders saw fit to emphasize the cultures of other nations, while quietly denigrating American culture to obscurity, apparently on the premise that American culture already receives enough exposure.

I do think these arguments have some merit.  However, I would find myself to be unbearable, if i had an attitude that I resented other Bitlanders from doing better.  I expect my fellow Bitlanders to do their best to earn what they can, and I do not worry that maybe Bitlanders in other nations will get the drop on me.  I would like to think we are Bitlanders brother and sisters, who look out for each other, and are happy one of use to see the others succeed.

However, in a previous blog, I raised the question asking why the movie advertisements favor Americans and Canadians.  In this instance, I wanted to know why I had an advantage that others did not have.  This is, in my view, a morally acceptable and useful attitude to have.

This business of quietly helping some members through one method and then, as apparent compensation, quietly helping the previously excluded members by a second exclusionary method, seems to me to be patronizing, if well intended policy.  Bitlanders tends to rely on its own members to provide Bitlanders news, but sometimes the news just isn't public enough to make it into the pipeline.  It is as if Bitlanders intentionally conceals certain news, so as to avoid having Bitlanders know about it.

So, the question persists.  Are Americans and Canadians still benefiting disproportionately from the movie advertisements?  If so, why are Bitlanders from other nations not receiving the same benefit?  A second wrong, although much more forgivable than the first, does not excuse the first.

Why are the movie advertisements so important?  As indicated earlier, these are the best paying progressive award compensation on the site.  In other words, you can earn the bitcoin without having to have invested much of your time or money into the game.  If you do not have money, these Bitcoin payments are the best thing for you.  Watching 40 commercials a day takes twenty minutes, and yield 4000 Satoshi, without any reference whatsoever to buzz score, or gems, etc...

If some countries still do not have the 4000 satoshi a day progressive award, then when will they have it?
