This is the night
Of all that allowed the young man his chance at recklessness.

This was not about her dreams
Who wanted a sanctuary
Heaven would most likely procured.

This wasn't supposed to happen
His crime, her innocence
The ignorance of the fact per is the fatal attraction.

That a tropical paradise could conjure fairy tales
In the heat and darkness of their palms
And the places and holiness their romantic songs.

The warbles of bliss and happily ever after
Smoothes her resistance beyond her senses.

With her favorite balladeer
Humming promises of sunshine and ever after
Inside her acquiescent ear lobes.

She was eighteen and credulous
He took everything and never came back.

Thanks for reading :)
